Ofloxacin
- Second generation Fluoroquinolone having high antibacterial action compared to other fluoroquinolone
- Covers Gram +ve and Gram -Ve pathogens
- It can effectively reach at the site of infections
- Is highly effective against tough pathogens like SHIGELLA, PROTEUS and SALMONELLA which is responsible for GI tract infections
