Luliconazole - 1.0% w/w
- Luliconazole appears to inhibit ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting the enzyme Lanosterol demethylase.
- Inhibition of this enzyme's activity by azoles result in decreased amount of ergosterol, a constituent, a fungal cell membranes and a corresponding accumulation of lanosterol.
- It works by slowing the growth of fungi that cause infection.
